“When
you become enlightened [samadhi]
you will do tapas. There is a difference between enlightenment and Self
realization. What Swamiji has achieved is Self realization. A yogi is a Self
realized person. He is not just an enlightened person. When a person gets
enlightened that person starts doing tapas to realize the Self.”
“If a person does tapas with a desire in mind and attains God realization,
then that person can become god. Swamiji did not do tapas with any desire
for himself. He was made to do tapas
so he did not have any desire in mind when he had God realization.
Under such circumstances, the person
who does tapas becomes an agent of God and can serve all the people.
Swamiji is an agent of God.
He was chosen by God to be His agent
and God trained him to do God’s work. Swamiji should remain an agent of God
and serve the people.”
“Yogis do tapas for the people, not for the sake of obtaining powers for
themselves.”
"All yogis know one another. They are all the agents of God.
They are all the same and they are all connected together. They do not have
lines or branches or anything like that. They come from time to time.
They keep meeting together and they decide what is to be done and they go
ahead and do it. They need not be on the same planet at any time, but
can be doing service for people on different planets. They are all the
agents of God and whichever agent is sent by God, that agent comes forward
to do service."
“Swamiji did not do as he wished. Whatever his guru said, he did that.
Swamiji did not do anything for his own benefit.”
“Swamiji has come here for the people. He will not use his powers
[tapas shakti] for himself; that is a misuse of
the powers. The guru serves the devotees and the devotees serve the guru.
Swamiji did not incarnate for himself.
“God realization is not our aim. First you have to reduce your tensions and
keep your path right. Then people can understand each other.”
“If you do meditation, tensions will come down and you will be able to have
good relations with the people around you. You can be an example to other
people to control their minds properly.”
