Shri Swamiji returned to Adivarapupeta for the last time for Mahashivaratri of 1994, which was on March 10 that year. This program (except the last scenes) was edited from several hours of Hi8 video tape taken by Tom Palotas. The scenes include: Swamiji on the train and his arrival in Kakinada and procession through Adivarapupeta on March 9; the Mahashivaratri function at the Adivarapupeta ashram; scenes of Adivarapupeta village and ashram, including the place by the canal where Swamiji first sat in tapas and the Dhyana Mandir before it was torn down and replaced by the new temple; Swamiji bathing with devotees in the ocean near Kakinada and in the Godavari River near Rajamundry; Swamiji consecrating the foundation of the new weaver’s cooperative building in Adivarapupeta; and Swamiji visiting devotees’ homes. The program concludes with some video taken during the burial of Shri Swamiji’s sacred body.
