Bhava, bhava samadhi and spiritual trance all refer to various states of spiritual ecstasy that is part of all spiritual traditions. Shivabalayogi’s use of bhava samadhi is unusual only in how generously he gives the experience.

When General Singh compiled his biography of Swamiji, Shri Shri Shri Shivabalayogi Maharaj, Life and Spiritual Ministration, he also included a detailed description of the practice of dhyana meditation based upon his conversations with Shri Swamiji, his personal and extensive experience in meditation, and his own study of the Indian traditions of meditation.
